A Busy Day + Kidstock

It was a jam-packed day for this Miss Teen on June 6! I'll give you the low down.  My day started heading over to Hush to get my outfit for the night. After trying on many they sent me with a cute mint tube dress! Which turned out to be not the smartest choice but more on that later. After the boutique I hopped on over to Shapes with my friend Lisa for a tough Power class, there is a lot of sweat going into getting ready for the pageant I tell you! After I got freshened up I had to drive over to my jewelry sponsor Vintage Bling to get some accessories for my outfit, she paired it with a cute flower necklace and some simply dangley earrings. Once I quickly picked up some Subway (a girl's gotta eat!) I headed straight to my hair appointment. After getting my split ends cut off and some nice curls put in it was home to change. It was then time to put everything together, I got dressed, touched up the make up, put on the accessories, and of course the crown and sash. Now it was out the door and to the Forks!

It was time for what the whole day was leading up to. I was hosting Kidstock at the Children’s Festival. Kidsstock is the big outdoor concert held at the Scotiabank stage. It is a night of great performers such as Aaron Burnett, Asani, and Grand Derangement. I got the VIP treatment, there was even a green room full of snacks (peanut M&Ms, my favorite!) Although the night turned out to be a very chilly one I had a fantastic time being on stage and introducing all the acts! But my favorite part was while the performers were on, I was dancing and chatting with the kids. It is so great to just let loose and rock out to some Rocky Roletti! As well I loved signing autographs, who doesn't like feeling like a celebrity. If this is just a taste of what I have coming up I can't wait for the rest! Hi Kyla,
My family and I headed down to the Forks for Kidstock last night and thoroughly enjoyed the performances.
However, I must say that the highlight of the night for my entire family was also the dancing that took place immediately in front of the stage. The way you connected with all the young children was remarkable and my daughters felt like they had a true brush with a celebrity Smiling
Thanks for the autographs and for spreading some warmth on such a cold night!
And good luck with the pageant - I know you'll go far...
