Introduction

Hello Everbody,

My Name is Kyla Wills and I am Miss Teen Manitoba-World 2009! Throughout the year of my reign you can check out my blog anytime to see what I'm up to.

Here is a little bit about me

I am 17 years old and currently in Grade 11 at Glenlawn Collegiate. I am very active in my community being on many committees at school including student council as well as spending my summers as a children’s camp counselor. I have spent many hours volunteering at multiple charities such as Winnipeg Harvest, The YMCA and The MS Society. My future ambition is to go to law school and become a successful lawyer. I enjoy acting and filmmaking very much. I have spent many years training in acting in particular through many of MTYP’s theatre school programs. To maintain a healthy lifestyle I enjoy many forms of yoga. My platform is to help promote self-esteem and self-confidence in today’s young girls. I plan on running workshops to turn the girls of today into the confident women of tomorrow. I very strongly believe that it is important for every girl to believe she is beautiful.

I would like to win Miss Teen Canada-World because not only would it be a great experince in which to grow and gain new experiences but I would like to be a positive role model for today’s girls in a world where we need more women to look up to that respect the others and themselves.

Hi Kyla. Good start. But that font is so small I can barely read it. A what about aligning the picture to the right or to the left so the text hugs it? Don't be afraid to experiment!
